Phenolic foam is one kind of material with excellent properties. Among the foam materials,phenolic foam has incomparable superiority to other foams.3-dimension spacer fabric is a new kind of woven material ,which has integrity,designability,and hollow characteristics. It can be used to prepare composite with lower cost for one step processing.3-dimension spacer fabric can be used to prepare foamed composite with phenolic foam ,which may help to improve the properties of phenolic foam and enlarge its range of applications.The processing conditions and formula have been researched to prepare phenolic foam by the method of high-temperature foaming.When normal-temperature foaming mould was applied to prepare foam under high-temperature,controlling resin liquid overflow quantity and foaming pressure was often difficult. To solve this problem, high-temperature foaming mould was designed. Deflation control unit with compressing spring to preloading is applied for controlling resin liquid overflow quantity and foaming pressure. The problem of resin liquid overflow quantity has been solved and foaming pressure is adjustable.The processing conditions have been researched and phenolic foam can be prepared under some regulations,which have the heating process with room temperature to 90℃,and keeping 90℃for four hours. After 90℃for four hours ,the temperature should be raised to 170℃and keeping 170℃for four hours.The solid content of phenolic foam and the different blowing agents have been studied under the conditions for phenolic foam preparation. In order to prepare excellent phenolic foam the solid content of phenolic foam should be 79 percent. Among the blowing agents in the experiments,the blowing agent HH-3 is best.The content of blowing agent HH-3 has been studied and 3 percent of blowing agent HH-3 may be used to prepare excellent phenolic foam with higher closed cell proportion.Effect of surfactant content on closed cell proportion of foam has been studied, and 5 percent of Tw-80 may be used to prepare excellent phenolic foam with higher closed cell proportion.In order to solve the problem of toughening for phenolic foam,the content of polyamide has been studied,and 10 percent of polyamide may be used to prepare excellent phenolic foam with higher closed cell proportion3-dimension spacer fabric phenolic foamed composite has been prepared. Effect of the density of material and pile height on compressive strength has been studied. It can be concluded that compressive strength will become higher with the density of material improved and compressive strength will become lower with the pile height improved.The burning property of 3-dimension spacer fabric phenolic foamed composite has been studied. Under the severe conditions with 500℃and 800℃,the materials reveal excellent property.The property of anti-static heating of 3-dimension spacer fabric phenolic foamed composite has been studied. When the sample heated by quartz lamp heater, the temperature of heating surface is 1200℃, but the temperature of back surface is 151.1℃.
