Abrasibe belt grinding is an adbanced manufacturing technology of wide application, high efficiency, low cost and easy operation. It even has the advantages better than other grinding technology in some fieds.The machining precision of tace abrasive belt-griding refers to the surface quality, dimensional precision and shape precision. This paper studies them comprehensivly through experiments. The results prove that the temperature of abrasive belt-grinding almost have no affect to the surface quality, thus,the surface with good physical and mechanical characteristic can be get. And we studied the affecting factors of the surface roughness. Through theory studying and experimenting, we get the quantitative relations of the remain cutting allowance and its affecting factors which include abrasive belt speed, workpiece speed, feed, feed times, polishing times,the wearness of abrasive belt and the stiffness of touching wheel. The experiments prove that increasing the stiffness of grinding head can improve the flatness precision. This paper gives the selecting rules of technology parameters which can reduce and restrain the surface waviness caused by the eccentric of touching wheel, and advances a new effective method——uzzy evaluation method, with which the wear process of abrasive belt can be ebaluated. Griding plane comoseite material with abrasive belt is economical and feasible technology method.
