Along with the rapidly development of automobile industry,modern people pay more attention to automobile secure and energy-saving function. Lightweight of Automobile can reduce energy consumption,and application of high strength materials also can guarantee the safety performance of automobile. Therefore, lightweight of Automobile became the development trend of the automotive industry.The high strength sheet metal (HSSM) is more and more extensively used in the automobile manufacturing. However,because of the higher strength and toughness,its forming is relatively difficult.On one hand,the requirement of forming equipment and mold material is higher; on the other hand,the diameter precision of formed pillar is lower behaved by large springback. By the final shape of panels decided formed springback, so the springback phenomenon is worthy of study. If the springback serious will also affect welding and assembly processes. In order to improve the forming precision, we need to accurately prediction and control of the springback.Take center pillar as an example,through the use of the finite element simulation software AUTOFORM to study the stamping springback problem.And take measures to control the springback.The main research work and conclusions were as follows:(1) The summarize focus on the research status of automobile HSSM and stamping springback of blank was put out.(2) This paper systematically describes the finite numerical simulation theory, comparing the forming process of several different analysis methods,found that the best analysis methods is the finite numerical simulation.(3) By numerical simulation technique,take center pillar as an example to determine the forming process parameters.Take forming simulation,and analysis of simulation problems.Adjusting the process parameters to contrast the formability of HSSM and CSM.(4) Analysis the influence of parameters on springback within Orthogonal test.Through adjusting structure achieved good engineering application effect.
