In provide humans wealth at the same time, it also gives the mining area and the surrounding area, which brings a lot of problems caused by the destruction of the land and the ecological environment situation more and more severe. Therefore, the land reclamation is imminent. A basic principle of land reclamation is adjust measures to local conditions. China is a vast, all around the circumstance of oneself, reclamation way of also vary.Based on extensive reading domestic literature material, this text research the basic principle and method of land classification in coal mine area. According to distribution characteristics of China's coal resources and damage of land because of mining, it meticulous research the classification of land reclamation for different ways in different regions, mining, geomorphic conditions. Summarized in land reclamation classification method. According to the summed up the land classification method, it studies the corresponding land reclamation planning and design method. Puting Hengtai Colliery with Pu-an County of Guizhou as an instance, we propose the model of land reclamation in the typical southwest hill coal mining area . Specific include the following contents:(1)Through the investigation and study,according to different regions, topography, geology, ecology, environment condition, it summarizes different characteristics of needs of land reclamation and damage in coal mining area.(2)In the current land reclamation preliminary classification,based on the geographic location of coal mining area, we research mining damage characteristics of land in different geographic location,mine land reclamation mode and corresponding technical measures in the south,north and east and west different location .Then, it puts forward the typical land reclamation classification method.(3)Combining the classification of reclamation,it analyses the existing techniques of land reclamation planning and design, such as: determining the degree of land, suitability evaluation of land reclamation, using the techniques of engineering and biotechnology, comparison and analysis of its applicability.(4)Taking the Hengtai Colliery with Pu-an County of Guizhou for example, the comparative study of the two mining damage types, land within the area of reclamation mode, determination of the land is damaged, apply the above research, using different reclamation standards, formulate corresponding reclamation measures.
