The Mineral medicine pyritum mainly used to treat Fractures and trauma. The Modern pharmacological studies shows that it has to promote the role of fracture healing,but its mineral composition iron ore contain lead, mercury and so on many kinds of the harmful elements which contained in Pyritum in human body can be accumulated in human body, which harm to human health and even harm offspring health. Pyritum is one of the first Chinese medicine treatment clinics, used more often. In order to guarantee the safety of drugs, it is necessary to its harmful element content for research.This experiment was conducted systematic research on pyritum, studied on medication safety for fully investigated. The thesis contains following main parts:Collecting samples across the country, using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) method to determine the content of harmful elements from 25 districts in 50 samples and also to determine the content of harmful elements in the calcium reagent of high purity fluoride. The results showed that from 25 regions of pyritum samples were detected of harmful elements with different levels, and the content were high, while the content of harmful elements in the calcium reagent of high purity fluoride were within the limits.Combined with the methodology guideline including linear range, detection limit, precision, recovery, the method set-up was verified. The detection limits of Pb,Cd,As,Hg,Cu were 1.08μg/L,0.83μg/L,0.29μg/L,0.62μg/L,0.27μg/mL respectively. Experiments of repeatability and recovery showed favorable precision and accuracy.Study on the processing technology of pyritum. Selecting four factors, such as calcined system temperature, calcined system time, amount of vinegar and vinegar quenching frequency, using four factors and three levels of the orthogonal test, the results showed that after being processed by different method, the harmful elements of pyritum yritum all decreased greatly. The best processing technology have been identified, that is, heated to 600℃, kept 1.5 hours, per 100 grams of vinegar to use 10 mL, repeatedly calcining twice.Selecting three factors, such as added water volume, decoction time, medicine crushing degree, using three factors and three levels of using three factors and three levels of the orthogonal experiment, the optimizing boiling conditions were:i.e. crushed herbs over 65 mesh sieve, added water 12 times, boiled 2 hours in advance.Determining the Stripping capacity of harmful elements of pyritum.Such as in artificial gastric juice (simulated pills, oral powder) and in the compound decoction (analog decoction). The results showed that the Stripping capacity of harmful elements in artificial gastric juice and in the compound decoction were lower than the harmful elements in the limit of its clinical use, showed that on its clinical use is relatively safe.
