Regional Ecology Environment Problems Caused By The Development Of The Pearl River Delta Cities And Towns In Ming And Qing Dynasties

The Pearl River Delta in the Ming and Qing Dynasties was often affected by natural disasters, but generally speaking, the nature and humanity environment were superior, which promoted the development of cities and towns, with the development of cities and towns,nature and humanity ecological environment appeared. The author make great effort to explore region questions caused by the development of cities and towns in The Pearl River Delta, from the historical perspective of urban geography.This paper consists of four parts:introduction, body, conclusion, appendix. As the main structure of the body, the following parts will be discussed. The first part,from the basics of natural and human geography of The Pearl River Delta which is its survival and development,mainly research the lavation,climate,soil,resource,water conservation,population,land,economic center,culture and so on. The second part, research the nature ecological environment problems caused by the development of the cities and towns:water environmental was deteriorated,steams were jammed,trees were destroyed,air was polluted,noise pollution was serious. The third part research humanity ecological environment problems caused by the development of cities and towns:public security was confused,fire happened frequently,plague was popular, and so on. The forth part research series of measures taken by the government and civil societies.The development of cities and towns has the historical succession, nowadays constructions and city planning can draw on the development of the Pearl River Delta towns in the Ming and Qing. While with the development of cities and towns, people should pay attention to the ecology questions,take the sustainable development route to promote the cities and towns develop healthy.
