Apocynum venetum fibers which have excellent physical and mechanical properties in garment field are regarded as"the king of wild fiber". Just as the current research about apocynum venetum fibers at home and abroad, textiles made from apocynum venetum fiber is very little. And the blended ratio of apocynum fiber in textiles is relatively low. These products belong to mid-range and low-end products. There are hardly high-grade products. Degumming technology is the key link in producing high-count yarn so that technology of initial processing degumming process plays an important role.In this study, the new process of apocynum venetum degumming will reasonably make two traditional processes(bleaching and boiled degumming process)together, which can remove gum and other object by taking advantage of their principle of the process. Compared with domestic and foreign degumming technology, the new degumming technology of alkali-H2O2 one-bath can obviously speed up: (1) the rate, reduce time of degumming, and save cost; (2) the length uniformity of apocynum venetum fiber is good, feel good, color and luster good, suitable for pure or blended spinning, doing the high-end textiles of apocynum venetum; (3) refined dry flax fibers have low residual gum content, excellent whiteness value, higher breaking strength; (4) finishing can save savings and improve product quality stability without bleaching and scouring process. In alkali-H2O2 one-bath, the mathematical model of this new process will be established through process optimization, calculation and analysis in order to obtain optimal and reasonable treatment process. Alkali-H2O2 one-bath degumming method and optimization of process parameters can be obtained the following conclusions:(1) New degumming process: original apocynum venetum hackle→acidifying→washing,dripping→alkali-H2O2 one-bath degumming→washing, stamping→dripping fiber→acidifying→washing→dehydration→shaking up and drying→refined dry flax fibers. This degumming process differs from conventional chemical degumming process. Compared with the conventional chemical degumming process, the six procedures can be reduced by adoption of the new process.(2) This new process can not only accomplish the purpose of short degumming process, but also reduce cost and pollution, and improve stability of the product quality in finishing process. Compared with the conventional chemical degumming process, this new process can save water 20%. And the efficiency of the whole process improves 38%.(3) In alkali-H2O2 one-bath, using Mg2+ and alkaline hydrogen peroxide stabilizer can reach purpose of the stable and protection, and protection of cellulose against oxidation, which can make alkali-H2O2 one-bath the best conditions and degumming effect.(4) The current way to add chemical additives improves the delivery mode for the use of additives put in a special process in batches in apocynum venetum degumming field. The new method can make alkali-H2O2 one-bath degumming effect better than traditional degumming effect.(5) In view of influential factors of alkali-H2O2 one-bath and optimization experiment, it is concluded that the best degumming range of refined dry flax in experimental conditions are as follows: NaOH concentration:10~11g/L, hydrogen peroxide solution dosage:9.5~10.5g/L, and the processing time:120~135min.(6) Through testing residual gum content, physical and mechanical properties, and shape of refined dry flax fibers, the main technical performance indicators, such as residual gum content of refined dry flax fibers, single fiber breaking strength, whiteness and other design requirements, prove to achieve the purpose and requirements of degumming.
