Apocynum venetum, a new favorite in natural fibre kingdom, contains several medical ingredients. Clothes made of apocynum venetum not only possess flax's properties, but also cure diseases and keep people healthy. So many experts believe that apocynum venetum is the ideal textile fibre.However, because of the developed apocynum venetum products faulty preliminary working, large amount of fibre consumption, low quality and utilization ratio of apocynum venetum, the latter process and products quality are influenced seriously. Hence, degumming in the preliminary working is proved to be in an important position. At present, most apocynum venetum textile enterprises in our country use chemical degumming technology and consult the mature ramie chemical degumming technology. They carry on firstly vitriol pre-impregnation and then twice alkali boiling. But this technology consumes a long time, a large amount of energy and certainly high cost and pollutes environment around,moreover, the quality of acquired degummed apocynum venetum is not ideal.Therefore, to find a fast chemical degumming method suitable for apocynum venetum, the thesis mainly deals with the following: a)On the basis of studying some new chemical degummingtechniques of other bast fibers, an apocynum venetum fast chemicaldegumming technique will be given. b)Adopting the orthogonal experimental design to study the effects of-3-some parameters of the pretreatment in this technique on the efficiency of wiping off apocynum venetum gelatine and lignin and pick out the main parameters.c)Adopting the universal rotatable experimental design to obtain the regression equations with high precision and the relations between the main parameters (hydrogen peroxide concentration, the time of pretreatment and urea density) and the efficiency of wiping off gum and lignin; Finding the best degumming technique.Under the specified conditions in this paper, we obtained thefollowing conclusions:l.The apocynum venetum fast chemical degumming method, which pre-impregnated it with hydrogen peroxide and urea and then scoured it twice, will shorten the time of degumming and reduce the consumption of energy. It also has good effect and can increase spinnability.2. The main parameters that affect the efficiency of wiping off apocynum venetum gelatine and lignin are hydrogen peroxide density, pre-treatment time and urea concentration. Hydrogen peroxide density and pre-treatment time have more effect on wiping off gelatine, while hydrogen peroxide concentration and urea density on lignin. The best combination of those parameters for the best degumming effect is: hydrogen peroxide concentration 4.5~5.5g/l, pre-treatment time 20~21min, urea concentration 8.5~9g/l, PH value 6.5-7.
