With the inereasing ponularization of jewelry marlet and the continuous improvement of living standards.people are raising their investment in jewlry consumption.previius metal jewlry is playing an important role in the whole jewlry marlet.whose growing covsumption and the consumer's taste make its manutactures face a new challenge in how to inprive not only the efficiency but also the quality.Due to its distinguishing features precious metal jewlry is still mainly handmade .The loq level of mechanization seriously restricts the development and innovation of jeqelry processing lechnology.In recent years .the rapid development of modern high-teeh such as advanced manufacturing aechnology.and computer control technology.and comptuer control technology.brings a more positive impact on precious metal jeqelry pricessing industry for the technological innovations.Industry engineers and technicians should pay more attention to how to bring high-tech into jewelry manufactures.It is really important to improve prodrcing efficiency and precision by machines to replace the manual process.A variety of sphere-shaped.sllipsoid-shaped precious metal beads.which are widely used in jewelry eqripment and maling are still hand -stamping by workers recently.In this paper,an automatic equiprnent was prOposed and developed creatively for stamping forming process of sphere-shaped.ellipsoid-shaped precious metal beads.After the systematic and comprihensive designing,pricessing and assenbling.the finished devieces can produce cenrisymmetric-shaped pieces of metal jewelry like round balls and ovals automatically with the control of an embedded system based on modern design concept.and can replace nanual works.For researching and developing this equipment.following tasks has been done .We conceived the overall structure of the model for the equipment equipment usingeq the electromechanical integration conception.The whole model of the device is composed of three main sections:the mechanical section.the electronic controlling section and the controlling program aection,which are the contents and logieal strueture of our R & D work The logical relationship between these three sections was also studied in details:the mechanical section makes the bottom layer structure, the electronic controlling section is the middle laver. the controlling program section locates the top layer.The designing of the mechanical section. Reference to the actual processing flow, we designed the three mechanisms of the mechanical section according to its function. Then we analyzed the movement forms and the assembling relationship of the three pans. After the designing of the lifting mechanism, the rotating mechanism and the feeding mechanism of the body structure and assembly of the three component parts, we drew the part drawings of all the parts in the mechanisms and had the parts manufactured and assembled to make the complete machine.The designing of the electronic controlling section. On the base of the completed assembly of the mechanical section, we researched the controlling functions required in the whole equipment and obtained the electronic function modules. We chose the appropriate microcontroller and other electronic components. and designed the power supply system. the microcontroller system and the input ke\board module. LCD module, the motor driving module, the punching controlling module, the alarm module, and the serial port programming module. With the help of the EDA software, we drew all the circuit schematic and the PCB wiring diagram of the entire electronic controlling system and all component modules and made the circuit accomplished by hand welding.The designing of the controlling program. Upon completion of the bottom mechanical and middle electronic layers, based on the electronic controlling system functions and the movement state requirements of the stepping motors that drive the mechanical parts, programs were designed for each module and method using the microcontroller as a carrier, The programs was including the driving stepping motors controlling program for the lifting mechanism, the rotating mechanism and the feeding mechanism, the keyboard driving program, the relay controlling program, the controlling programs of the alarm and LCD. In the end. a completed program was developed for the whole pipe automatic manufacturing procedures by integrating all the modules in the above.
