Heating furnace is one kind of the main energy consumption equipments, which has become an indispensable heating equipment of oil-gas storage and transportation. Energy efficiency standards of heating furnace are not only foundation of purchasing but also regulation of manufacturer. The monitoring standards are the basis of detection and evaluation for heating furnace. But the evaluation index is regarded as equal weight, so it is imperfect in many objective realities. Therefore, determining limited value and selecting method of energy-saving monitoring reasonably are of important significance for the standardized trades management and energy-saving operation management. In this paper, the influencing factors of energy-saving operation and the interaction relationship are introduced, including exhausted gas temperature, various heat losses, the excess air coefficient and heating efficiency. From the point of heating furnace manufacturer, the evaluation index of limited value, target value and energy-saving value are quantified clearly under the entire rated load based on the national standard of energy efficiency. The current evaluation methods and standards of energy-saving monitoring are introduced. In fact, evaluation indexes are not in equal weight. The grey correlation analysis is applied to the comprehensive evaluation of heating furnace, of which weight is made by entropy method, thus a new calculation method of equipment correlation degree is proposed. In the end the comprehensive evaluation system for heating furnace is compiled with Visual Basic, including the information management and query, efficiency calculation, energy loss analysis, weight calculation and grey correlation analysis.
