Control cooling in hot rolling mill is a very important method to control and improve the quality of product. Laminar cooling control is one of control cooling, and coiling temperature is one important parameter of performance of hot strip. With the laminar cooling system of our country as the background, this dissertation studies the laminar cooling system and laminar cooling computer control system. On the basis of the typical control system principle, this paper provides the software design effort. Detailed works are as follow.Firstly, this paper introduces laminar cooling development background, working principle and development status. As the hot mill plant in our country for example, the paper analyses the all functions of system structure, studies a new control method of strip laminar flow cooling process. The preset model and the coiling temperature predicting model based on the new dynamic model are developed. The preset compensation model is added to the preset model to increase the control effect of preset model and tube valve controller to control flow better.Secondly, as the mathematic model of hot strip laminar cooling system is based on the theory of calorifics, so the paper analyzes the four models of basic transfer heat and the six cooling mathematical models, particularly compares the several mathematic model of the process of this true hot strip laminar cooling system. To choose a proper mathematic model has an important mean to the accuracy of the coiling temperature. Thirdly, artificial neural network has the ability to analytic nonlinear complex process, so the text makes a study on the artificial neural network predictive control model and simulates it.Fourthly, the computer control system controls coiling temperature control. In this paper, it introduces the laminar cooling control system of development platform and design situation; analyzes the subsystem of computer control system; introduces the control algorithm and control stratery of the laminar cooling control system; provides the control system design solution, these lay the foundation for control software implementaion.Lastly, with the content of the above, in order to reduce energy consumption, meet the performance requirement at the same time, the paper provides the effect of the model implementation.
