Hot steel strip coiling temperature of strip steel microstructure of great influence, isdecided to strip processing properties, physical properties and mechanical properties of theone of the important parameters. Strip coiling temperature can control reality within therequired range, depends mainly on the control accuracy of strip cooling system. When theactual coiling temperature exceeds the specified range, rolled steel product quality willdecline. So guarantee the coiling temperature to reach the required temperature, improve theaccuracy of coiling temperature control of hot strip mill in the field is always a very importantand complicated problem.Based on the steel strip factory of1500mm hot rolling mill line of laminar coolingcontrol system of the project as the background, to strip laminar cooling control system as theresearch object, this paper studies the coiling temperature control system of the project is animportant part of control system, its quality directly affects the normal running of the wholesystem and the microstructure and mechanical properties of strip quality, then influence theproduct on the market’s competitiveness and product benefit.The specific research contents are as follows:1) According to the project’s laminar cooling devices and the request of the products’qualities, the following works were completed: the CTC system’s hardware and networkconfiguration, cooling strategies selection, HMI interfaces creation, mathematic model andcontrol arithmetic design, and etc.2)The analysis of Laiwu Steel1500mm hot strip laminar cooling control strategy, focusing on a detailed analysis of the various functions of the control strategy. Can be seenfrom the concrete realization of the laminar cooling control process is a pre-set computing andfeedforward correction calculation based, supplemented by feedback control complex controlsystems. And the application of the system in the actual production analysis and evaluation,the problems of the control strategy and pointed out the improvement direction.3) Pointed out that to improve the precision of the presetting model was the fundamentalmeasure to improve the precision of the coiling temperature. Based on improved BP network,upbuilded the CTC preset model, after the network was trained with sample data, tested itwith some new data, and applied the outputs of the network to practice, the results proved thatthe network was reliable; it alleviated the feedback control’s burden, and improved theprecision of the coiling temperature.
