The Evaluation And Application Of EVA Plastic Film For V-process Casting

The EVA plastic film is the key material of V-process casting, and once obstructed the development of V-process casting because of its inadequate elongation. For these years, V-process casting comes into vogue again for its lower cost and cleaner production, thus, the EVA plastic film is the focus.In this background, this paper investigates the domestic companies of EVA plastic film, and also a Japanese company. The samples of plastic film of these companies are gained for further research.According the requirement for EVA plastic film in V-process casting, the plastic film samples are all tested in different experiments, such as those of elongation, thermal forming, heat resistance etc. The data is to be analyzed to compare the differences among these films.Besides, this paper also applies the experiment platform in Huzahong University of Science and Technology, and finished the platform to test the all performance. Through the test, the comparison obviously shows the difference of the domestic and Japanese plastic films.To regulate and unify the production and application of EVA plastic film of V-process casting in China, and to guarantee the benign competition and product promotion, the author advanced several reference advices for industry standard of EVA plastic film, and these advices are applied in the company standard in Wuhan Hengde technology LTD., which shows feasibility of the industry standard.
