In order to solve uncoordinated contradiction of the development of excavating machinery and transport machinery better in tunnel and mine construction, the Ministry of Railways will develop vigorously traction locomotive. In the underground engineering of long tunnel, traction locomotive is been required with characteristics of low noise, low air pollution, energy obtained conveniently and low construction cost. According to this problem, this paper advanced the technology scheme of electro-hydraulic control system of mine traction locomotive for long tunnel on the basis of in-depth researched and analysed of the current development of traction locomotive driving control system.Electro-hydraulic control system has been widely used in many areas for its characteristics of high response ability, high power and high control precision. This thesis researched the application of the electro-hydraulic control technology in mine traction locomotive.Based on the analysis of driving function and auxiliary function of the mine traction locomotive, this paper designed electro-hydraulic control system for traction locomotive. Firstly, based on the analysis of working principle of traction locomotive driving, this paper designed hydraulic driving system with variable pump and variable motor. The hydraulic driving system with RBF neural network self-tuning PID control has been achieved co-simulation analysis in AMESim/Simulink. Secondly, according to the planning function of the control system, controller's modular hardware has been designed. It included the driving function module, the control function module, the human-computer interface module, etc. The driving module contained the proportional valve driving circuit. The control terminal of proportional valve driving circuit is controlled by the adjustable duty-ratio PWM which is outputed by controller. PWM driving technology can simplify driving circuit, improve control accuracy, reduce power. Thirdly, according to the realized function of electro-hydraulic control system of traction locomotive, the software was programmed. The function modules of control system included mainly the hydraulic proportional driving function module, control strategy function module, the signal processing function module etc. These function modules realized in IAR. Finally, the performance of electro-hydraulic control system has been verified by program debugging, software simulation and experimental verification. The results show that the study and design of the electro-hydraulic control system of mine traction locomotive meets the practical application of tunnel and mine construction.
