With the high-pressure gas pipeline widely applied in China in recent years, fire and explosion accidents caused by gas pipeline leakage were increasing.The environment along the pipeline was seriously damaged, and the lives and property nearby was threatene.Research on fire and explosion hazard could provide guidances to emergency system in the first time.An accurate calculation could support emergency system effectively to reduce losses as much as possible.By researching of the whole process from gas pipeline leakage and diffusion to fire and explosion,a number of models had been analysed and improved,some new models had been proposed,the work mainly includes:(1)Empirical formula of gas leakage rate had been studied and improved by numerical method to deal with change of pressure, so the results were more realistic.(2)Through the study of gas diffusion process, differential equations of mass balance had been derived to prove that the wind will accelerate the gas diffusion.(3)Some of the common model of gas diffusion had been studied and the problems of them had beenpointed out.A new model had been proposed which considered the initial injection of gas and buoyancy effects on the diffusion. A lot of calculation used of it had been carried out, and various pipeline conditions on diffusion had been analysed.The results show that the new model was more realistic.(4)The morphology of the gas jet fires and thermal radiation damage calculation had been studied,a large number of calculation had been carried out through program,and some of the laws of the jet fire had been analysed.(5) A mathematical model for solving gas cloud explosion center had been proposed and solved the model through diffusion model in this paper. (6) The diffusion model in this paper and three common diffusion model had been taken together to solve the explosion after the gas pipeline leakage.And the explosion models had been compared,characteristics of the three models had been analysed.The quality method proposed in this paper had been applied to he explosion calculation.(7) Multi-energy method had been analysed deeply.As input parameter by this method is simple,the limited volume and damage radius had been fitted curve, a simple formation had been proposed and the application efficiency of multi-energy method had been improve.
