Urban rivers is closely related to human development, with flood control anddrainage, water supply, protection of natural ecology, landscaping and so on, is thelifeblood of the city's economic development. With the development of the city, thecity's increasing demand on water resources, making the serious destruction of urbanwater environment, water quality continues to deteriorate.Zaohe River in Xi'an is a main tributary of the Weihe River, the current waterquality deterioration has become a sewage river, loss of self-purification function,affecting the city's ecological environment, it has seriously polluted the Wei he River.In this paper, it conducted coastal outfall between Zaohe River section and theZaohe River into the Weihe River section, the total length of about 6 km, and inaccordance with the nature of sewage, the sewage outfall type, sewage law of statistics.Among them, the number of industrial sewage outfall is 20, sewage outfall accountfor 11%;life, and mixed sewage outfall accounted for 55% and 34%; the sewage outfallis mainly pipe emissions based, there are 181; intermittent sewage, recurrent discharge,recurrent non-sewage outfall were 12,100,73.This study has 13 quality monitoring sections of river water, and monitorcontinuously from December 2009 to July 2010 during the period, the main waterquality indicators are COD,BOD5,TN,NH4-N,TP and so on. The water qualitymonitoring results show that: Zaohe River is organic polluting river, the main pollutantis COD,BOD5,NH4-N, are worse than Grade V. COD changes in the range of 38mg/L880mg/L, the main pollution section is the Z-6,Z-9,Z-12; BOD5 changes in the rangeof 54mg/L182mg/L ,The main pollution section is the Z-5,Z-9,Z-12; NH4-N changes in the range of 25mg/L 115mg/L, the main pollution section is the Z-1,Z-3,Z-9.Based on the characteristics of Zaohe River's environment, it builds atwo-dimensional water quality model to simulate river water quality changes, COD,NH4-N,BOD5 simulated and observed values agree well ,it illustrate that riverwater quality model is the soap effective. Using the soap River water quality model topredict future water quality, it results show that: 2015,2020,2025,organic pollution ofZaohe River is still more serious.For water environment and future trends of Xi'an Zaohe River, this paper proposedto use wetlands to control pollution of Zaohe River, and to reduce the impact on theWeihe River water quality, this paper proposed advice of improving the urban waterenvironment in Xi'an scientific.
