The drilling parameter optimization includes the optimization of instantaneous and average penetration rate, drilling footage, bit rotation time etc. The drilling parameter optimization mathematical model must be set up to adapt to the drilling conditions. In order to show some new development in this field, the paper conducts some researches on these problems.This paper studies some drilling parameters optimization theories, including bourgoyne and YangGe, Madeira and ouharui's non-dimensional drilling parameter optimization model, and the influencing factors of drilling efficiency are summarized., Random drilling optimization model is built with fuzzy optimization theory on the basis of early drilling models. And the reliability is analyzed, which meets the construction requirement. In the context of drilling cost, the drilling speed stochastic model is built, the numerical calculations of random influencing factors are obtained. By data comparison, the factors of influence on drilling rate are analyzed and the influence regulations are given. Finally, the solution of drilling speed stochastic model is given.AHP method of fuzzy decision is used in this paper to optimize PDC bit. The advantage of this method is that it combines the quantitative calculation method and qualitative calculation method. Qualitative calculation method is that the field engineers score some performances of bit, quantitative calculation method is that limits the scope of performance parameter, the optimizing bit sequences can be obtained by combined these two methods.Through collecting deep strata parameters and mechanical parameters of Daqing placanticline, the factors affecting the drilling efficiency by the fitting method can be obtain: WOB, rotational speed, pump pressure, differential pressure, and high shear limiting viscosity and so on. Comparison table of design parameters and predicted drilling speed are given according to the calculations of random drilling speed modelThe hydraulic simulation of the optimized drill bit is studied and flow field around bit is simulated, the reason of bit balling , flow pressure changes, nozzle direction etc. are analyzed, which testified the rationality of optimizing bit and the importance of hydraulic factors. In this paper, fuzzy optimization design theory is first applied in deep well drilling operation of Daqing oilfield. By the application in Daqing deep well, the drilling rate has been increased over 20%, drilling cost has been saved more than 50%.
