Drying is a high-energy unit in Glauber's salt production. At present, the drying equipments of Glauber's salt in country have many flaws, such as high energy, low output.In this paper, according to the actuality of Glauber's salt drying industry, we exploit fluidized bed drying equipment with in-bed heat exchanger for Glauber's salt and set up drying experiments system. According to the drying principle and drying characteristic of fluidize bed, we analyses flowing speed, inlet temperature, feed speed, feed moisture content and so on by experiments, and analyses the effects that these operation parameters affect heat transfer modulus and thermal efficiency of fluidizer drying. According to the drying of Glauber's salt in different containing water or moisture, we validate the Baerg.A. formula of heat transfer modulus. We get the drying intensity and thermal efficiency of fluidized bed drying. So we can confirm the craftwork calculation for opening rate of grid plate, area of exchanger inside, section area of bed, and the main structure of fluidizer bed. We also confirm the craftwork flow of fluidized bed drying equipment with in-bed heat exchanger for Glauber's salt.This kind of energy-saving fluidized bed is applied to all the country. The effect of it is in evidence in massive production of Glauber's salt drying. On the other hand, we should improve on the reclaim of rudimental heat.
