In automible industry, tailor-welded blanks (TWB) technology can not only reduce production cost,cut down car weight and fuel consumption, but also get high quality production. So it is widely used on car body manufacture, and has taken high economic benfit and society benfit for the Auto manufacturers.TWB technology takes difficuities to stamping process, TWB faces welding and stamping problems in shaping process. Especially in stamping aspect, when blank thick is not even or material is dismilar, it will cause non-uniform deformation, these bring effects to TWB stamping, thus they will affect the quality of vehicle body. In automible manufacturing industry, TWB bending parts are widely used. So, study the TWB bending theory and know the influence of springback and weld line movement to bending precision, will besignificant to set out proper stamping process. These paper uses TWB cap-shape bending as research object, the main factors which affect springback and weld line movement have been studied by analzing theory and experiment. The model of cap-shape bending of central TWB been set up, has obtained the relationship of TWB cap-shape bending force and displacement and the theory formulas of bending springback, the theory formulas and experimental data be compared. The cap-shape bending mechanism of longitudinal TWB and factors which affects springback and weld line rotation were analyzed. Through the cap-shape bending examination, the laws of BHF,mold size and friction which affect springback and weld line movement have been analyzed.Finally, these paper using orthogonal experiment which integrated BHF,arc radius of punch and die, method of lubrication and other factors,to compose and optimize them.It establishs the foundation to further research on intelligent controlling of the TWB cap-shape bending.
