Separator takes the most importation effect in Oil-field, refining, waste treatment plants and so on. When the common Double Volute Cyclone Separator (DVCS) has a high flow, it happen that the friction increasing, the fluid film thickening, expenditure of energy increasing and efficiency reducing in the descendingflowofsap of the separator. This paper introduces Experiment includes improving Air Suction System (ASS), making the slots on the column section of DVCS, installing 150mm, 170mm and 190mm inner diameters sockets. There is flow stagnation between the column section and slots. So the droplets in gas separate in the centrifugal force with the slots. After making the slots on the Column section of DVCS, The experimental results show that:(1) Hydrostatic pressure has not changed between making the slots and no slots.(2) The resistance coefficient reduces when the slots'amount and the sockets'inner diameters increase.(3) In the range of this experiment (flow rate 150m~3/h~350 m~3/h,concentration approximate 20 g/m~3 ), this structure is the best that making one slot and installing 150mm socket, in other words, there are 10mm distance between the column section of DVCS and the socket.(4) There is a reflux in the structure of making the slots, from the bottom of slots to the conical bottom. When the flow rate or the mount of slots increases, the reflux is clear but the efficiency falls down.
