Cyclone separator as a kind of important fine particulate matter separation equipment,because the characteristics such as simple structure strong applicability in the control environmental pollution,chemical,oil,etc,you can see its shadow,therefore the research made by the high separation efficiency,low pressure drop loss as the goal of cyclone separator has important application value.Three-dimensional turbulent flow inside the cyclone separator for high Reynolds number,the change of the internal flow field makes it extremely complicated flow pattern is not entirely,with the high-speed development of computational fluid dynamics and popularize application,the method of numerical simulation become the main means of the present study.First of four different entrance Angle of the volute cyclone separator are numerically simulated,by tecplot post-processing software to analysis the difference between the velocity field and pressure field in the separator,it is concluded that with the increase of inlet Angle,maximum tangential velocity also have varying degrees of growth,and can effectively improve on the cylinder at the top of the grey ring phenomenon and the short circuit flow of exhaust pipe,the change of the comprehensive separation efficiency and pressure drop loss,entrance Angle between 20 ° to 30 0 a more optimal value.Secondly on the basis of regression orthogonal experiment,the method of the volute cyclone separator inlet structure size and inlet velocity on joint parameter optimization,numerical simulation analysis of 36 group model,according to the test data to get the separation efficiency and pressure drop of separator model equation,and the entrance to the height,width of entrance,entrance Angle and the inlet velocity variables in a fixed two of the four parameters when the other two parameters on the separation efficiency and pressure drop loss through the contrast analysis of the relationship between by calling matlab optimization toolbox to aim at high separation efficiency and low pressure drop is obtained under the structure parameters and the corresponding optimal entrance of inlet velocity.Existing research shows that the particle size of particles in cyclone separator are small(<2um)when the separation efficiency is lower,so the above it is concluded that the optimization of the volute cyclone separator model on the basis of the design in front of the entrance to a water mist be charged chamber,make the particles interact with water mist reunion before entering the separator increase diameter.The force of particles in the device and the residence time and motion trajectory of particles in the device were analyzed.
