Well completion process is an important part of petroleum exploration and development.Due to the complex geographical environment, there are a large amount of uncertain factors inwell completion process. So the accident happens easily and consequences are serious.Through of the safety evaluation of well completion process, We can find out the hiddendangers timely, and take effective measures to prevent accidents and improve well completionsecurity level. The paper analyzes the technological process of well completion at first, and identifiesthe risk factors of well completion process, and finds out the main risk factors. Safetyevaluation system model is established with the ideas and methods of process - knowledgemanagement, and analyzes the various subsystems function in detail. Knowledge base isConstructed, and expresses the knowledge with the production rules and neural network, andbuild the knowledge base in table form. Database is Constructed, it can store real-time data ,equipment and personnel data. Then it can achieve dynamic management of real-timemonitoring data and equipment and personnel. We analyze the relationship between thedrilling parameters and accident types, and establish the accident types diagnosis model withthe artificial neural network method. This model can diagnose the abnormal situation of wellcompletion process. At last main program is achieved with Visual Basic, knowledge base anddatabase are achieved with Microsoft Access, accident types diagnosis is achieved withMATLAB neural network. The safety evaluation system software can real-time completesafety evaluation, and can judge safety conditions level. Then it can discovery possibleaccident types timely and adopt corresponding measures in order to prevent the situationfurther.
