In recent years,tower-crane-related safety accidents have occurred frequently,resulting in huge casualties and property losses to the society.Tower-crane-related construction activities involves varies of participants as well as complex construction scenarios,thus it is difficult for the site management personnel to fully grasp the safety management knowledge of the tower crane,which brought difficulties for the safety management of the tower-crane-related construction activities.This thesis introduced the ontology method into the safety management field of tower-crane-related construction,realized the standardized acquisition and expression of tower crane safety management knowledge by constructing the tower crane safety management knowledge ontology,and developed the tower crane safety management knowledge base to realize the storage,query and reuse of the safety management knowledge,so as to make full use of existing knowledge,and finally achieved the goal of reducing or controlling tower crane construction safety accidents.Firstly,based on the perspective of on-site management personnel,the thesis analyzed the structure of tower crane safety management knowledge,and defined the content and boundary of tower crane safety management knowledge from three aspects: tower crane installation,construction activity and construction risk.Subsequently,the site safety manager was identified as the target user of the ontology,and the functional requirements and development boundaries of the ontology were defined.Basing on IC-PRO-Onto and The meta ontology model for construction risk knowledge modeling,combined with the connotation of the main concepts in the field,the meta ontology of tower crane safety management knowledge was constructed,and the connotation,boundary and the core concept of the ontology were defined.Finishing the ontology construction by consummating the subclasses and attributes of the tower crane safety management knowledge ontology through case analysis and version iteration.Finally,based on the constructed ontology,the development of the tower crane safety management knowledge base was completed,the safety management knowledge extraction mechanism was designed,and the safety management knowledge storage and query was realized based on Protégé.Using SWRL rules and Jess reasoning tools to realize the construction and reasoning application of tower crane construction risk inference rules.The practical application of the ontology and knowledge base in a project was also carried out.The tower crane safety management knowledge ontology constructed in this thesis has strong applicability in the refinement and expression of tower crane safety management knowledge.The developed knowledge base can assist users to complete the storage,query and risk reasoning of safety management knowledge.The results of this thesis can promote the extraction,expression,sharing and reuse of tower crane safety management knowledge,which is of great significance to the safety management of tower crane construction.
