During the rapid development of the human world,the demand and consumption of energy resources has increased gradually;in the meantime it has caused environmental pollution more and more heavily. Whether the lack of energy resources, or the heavy environmental pollution ,it inspired us to develop efficient oil-water separation technology with high adaptability as soon as possible. Laboratory experiments were made in this research to find and recognize the role of the law each factor played in electric dehydration.So evidence was provided for the depvelopment of efficient and enery saving technology of electric oil-water separation.The properties of oil-water emulsion used in the research was comprehensive tested, and rheological properties of oil-water emulsion were realised.Then by static experiment of electric dehydration with high frequency pulse, it was studied that how physical properties of oil-water emulsion and parameters of the electric field impact on the process of electric dehydration in different degree and the interaction between moisture content and electric parameters . The method of orthogonal experiments was designed. Through comprehensive experiments it was inspected the rule about the main parameters of voltage , pulse width ratio, moisture content, temperature and frequency of electric affecting electric dehydration efficiency and energy consumption, and then the economic efficiency of the electric dehydration was analyzed.By systematic experiments and analysis , characteristics of oil-water emulsion rheology variation was got. Experimental result revealed the rule of dehydration efficiency and rate varying with physical properties of oil-water emulsion and the interaction between moisture content and electric parameters. By orthogonal experimental analysis, regression equation of electric dehydration efficiency varying with each affecting factor was established. Then the influence significance of each factor and the optimized combination of influence factors with highest electric dehydration efficiency were got. Finally, through the analysis of electric energy consumed in this process, the formula of economic efficiency was defined and optimized.So optimum technology of electric dehydration can be determined to satisfy the demand of different dehydration efficiency and energy-saving condition.
