Liner hanger cementing technique has become the commonly method to improve thequality of deep well and special well cementing, along with the wide application of it. Tosolve the technical problem of liner hanger cementing of the shafts and horizontal well andimprove the quality of deep well cementing, the rotating liner hanger cementing technique isoften to be used. If the deep liner hanger cementing is completed successful, the slip-cone'sperformance is one of key factors, which is the hanger's main component, and whichperformance and match directly influence the rotating liner hanger's normal operation.This paper reviews the home and abroad liner hanger's technical progress and researchstatus, and introduces several representative liner hanger's slip-cone structure. This papermainly studies RH Rotating Liner Hanger's slip and cone. The three-dimensional entitymodel of slip and cone were established using Solidworks software, based on fully grasp theRH Rotating Liner Hanger's principle of construction and performance requirements. Thenthe RH Rotating Liner Hanger's slip, cone and casing's performance were analysis usingAnsys finite element method. The main conclusions were summarized as follows: from thetop of the slip along the axial load decrease ordinal. Mises stress increase ordinal, as slip teethalong the circumferential from two sides to symmetry.The cone and casing's stresses are morebigger when the load of slip increase. The influence of structural parameters on theperformance is researched based on this studies, structural parameters including the slip teethdiameter, the slip curvature radius, the slip's width along the circumferential, slip jointthickness and so on, and the structure was meliorated. The finite element analysis shows thatthe slip and cone performance has greatly improved after the structure was meliorated.The RH Rotating Liner Hanger's slip and cone's conjugate and the bearing capacity of the slip were experimented. Test results show that the slip no skid and damage phenomenon.
