According to the National safety production industry standards for safety testing and inspection specifications of winding hoist system in coal mines and the actual needs of safety production in mines, the subject integrated with microcontroller technology, virtual instrument technology, modern signal processing and data communication technology, researched and developed intelligent detection device for mine hoist braking system.By the study of original test methods, determined the testing methods and data collection programs. Using upper and lower machine structure to develop hardware and software components in order to facilitate the actual use of coal mine production, achieved the accurate and effective testing for the main state parameters of mine hoist braking system, and the paper verified the performance of detection device by experiments.Hardware part contains data acquisition, data storage, data communication, input and output, power supply modules and so on. Data acquisition module consists of sensors measuring circuits, signal conditioning, A/D sampling and other components, it will realize digital measurement on state parameters such as the time of idle motion, brake clearance, ending pulsation, oil temperature and oil pressure of the mine hoist disc brake; the capacity of data storage is 16M, to meet the multi-channel testing datas storage and management; data communication module build a bridge for upper and lower computer coordination, it will achieve the exchange of data betwee detection device and computer; the power module with a combination of switching power and regulator modules ensures to provide sustained and stable power for its all parts.Software part includes lower computer software and PC software. Lower computer software uses the Keil C51 platform, by using modular design to complete the data collection, analysis processing, data storage, communications and other functional requirements; the development platform of PC software is LabVIEW8.5 which uses to further analysis and data management for testing datas, and through the use of VISA node to meet the communication requirements with the lower computer.By static characteristics test and measurement error analysis experiments for each channel of the testing device, gets the system accuracy, indicating that the instrument can meet the main parameters of brake system testing and analysis requirements.The testing device provides important technical support for the elevator disc brake performance testing work, improves the automated degree of hoist testing equipment, to meet the high-speed, high efficiency, intelligent, multi-functional, diversification trends of detection and monitoring device of brake system, so as to grasp the operation status of hoist and early signs of malfunction timely, eliminate security risks, and lay a good foundation to enhance the product design and manufacturing, improving and quality of hoist braking parts.
