Jingwei Wetland Ecosystem Health Evaluation Research

Jingwei wetlands are located in the northeast of Xi'an, Shan xi province; the area is 6325.7hm2. The east is to the town of Gao Ling Geng zhen Wei River Bridge as the boundary, west to Jingwei Liu Cun Bu for the sector, south to the Ba he River Bridge, and north to the north bank loess scarp of Wei He. The metlands are made from the intersection of Jing River and Ba he River, the two tributaries of the Wei He River. The Wei He River bed is the main river, the river, river flood plain and river sandbars are the major wetland center, there is plant species diversity. In the history, Jingwei wetlands were swong by the river control, human impact was less important. As economic develops in recent years, the wetland ecosystem is impacted by humans, for example, excessive cultivation, a large number of industrial waste water, sludge, sewage and chemical fertilizers, pesticides and other harmful substances discharged into the wetlands, making the wetland ecosystem and its function significantly degraded. Therefore, the research of Jingwei wetland ecosystem health assessment is very important to the construction of ecological environment in Xi'an, as well as economic, social and ecological harmony development.Through the collection of data and field survey, Jingwei wetlands will be divided into four evaluation areas; firstly, clear Jingwei indicators of wetland health assessment system; and then, the wetlands are evaluated from three aspects of the natural environment health, health of wetland function and human health of wetland; finally, based on the evaluation results, proposed the suggestions and strategies of Jingwei wetlands protection and rational development and utilization of resources.The main contents of this paper include:1 The major evaluation areas of Jingwei wetlandsAccording to geological features of Jingwei wetlands, hydrology, vegetation, soil, biological, and other elements of the basic characteristics, Jingwei wetlands will be divided into Jingwei intersection wetland areas, Chan ba wet areas, Wei and Jing he River wetland areas, the four evaluation areas were evaluated for each area in detail.2 Establish Jingwei Wetland Evaluation Index SystemWith actual survey, from three aspects of the natural environmental health, healthy wetland functions, human health wetland to establish the evaluation index system. Wetland natural environmental health indicators are from the river banks, river edge vegetation, river erosion or deposition, wetland and water quality, individual animal scale, area of degradation rate, wetlands affected by stress in the six classification; wetland function health indicators are from the flood control, water purification capacity, erosion control, natural habitat, food production, entertainment six classification; human health indicators of wetland, from human activities, population health, industry, sewage, wetland protection awareness, policies and regulations and implementing efforts, wetland management and scientific research in six graded.3 Jingwei wetland ecosystem health assessmentsEstablished Jingwei overall goal of wetland ecosystem health assessment layer correlation matrix, then the natural environment health indicators of wetland layer, layer of health indicators of wetland functions and human health index layer correlation matrix were established, by calculating the weight involved factors finalized. Participating reference index score, calculated Jingwei wetland health of the four evaluation areas, clear the intersection of the Jingwei wet areas health degree of 3.264, is healthy wetland; the Chan ba wetland areas health degree of 2.618, is relatively healthy wetland; the Wei he wetland areas health degree of 1.930, is general ill wetland; the Jing he wetland areas health degree of 1.717, is general pathological wetland.4 Suggestions and strategies of protection and sustainable use of Jingwei wetllandsBsed on the evaluation and analysis of Jingwei wetland ecosystem health, put forward for Jingwei wetland conservation and sustainable use of suggestions and strategies.
