Goaf air leakage is directly related to the coal mine disasters such as gas accumulation inthe upper corner of mining face and spontaneous combustion of the remaining coal in goaf, sostrengthening study on the distribution laws of goaf air leakage has great practicalsignificance.In this paper, based on thorough investigation of the at home and abroad research statuson the distribution law of air leakage, the author make a connection between air leakagesimulation and ventilation system ventilation network solution model according to therelationship between air leakage and the coal mine ventilation system. Basing on the existingventilation system network solution model, the author set up a grid model of goaf by adoptingnumerical methods of two-dimensional grid and studied air leakage distribution calculationmodel of the U-style mining face. In order to achieve an intuitive and efficient characteristicsof goaf air leakage distribution, the author achieve the visualization of the calculation resultsin the MapX&VB development environment. The system uses Visul Basic 6.0 as the softwaredevelopment platform, draw up the air leakage analysis system based on MapX component, toachieve the ventilation network solution and the calculation of the model in this paper, what'smore, the system achieved the mapping of nodes pressure isoline and node wind speed isoline.When the ventilation system changes, we can get the pressure at both ends and the air intakevolume of the mining face through ventilation network solution, and then analyse the airleakage in goaf, calculate the air quantity, wind pressure, wind speed and other parameters.Once ventilation system is adjusted, we can get a group parameters of air leakage distributionthrough the ventilation system network solution. In the end, the system has been applied toCui-Jiagou coal mine, the fact show that the wind volume and air flow distribution in goafchange with the mine ventilation system changes. The system in this paper provide powerful information and technology support for themanagers of ventilation system based on the analysis of air leakage distribution. It helps themanagers to understand dynamic safety conditions of mining face and predict possibleaccident caused by goaf air leakage, which can better guide the safe production of coal mine,especially it has an important guiding role for preventing gas accumulation in the uppercorner of mining face and spontaneous combustion of the remaining coal in goaf.
