Study On The Concept Of Folding Structure In Wine Packaging Design

In today’s world, environmental protection is closely related to the survival and life of human. However, excessive package and unreasonable package and other problems are very serious throughout package industry at present, which not only consumes too many resources unnecessarily, but also gives rise to a series of environmental problems. This paper explores more possibilities of application of eco –friendly paper materials in folded structure package through research on the application of paper folded structure in package.This paper is divided into three parts: first, illustrate the basic structure and type of paper folding. Then discuss its function and value, and make sorting, summary and generalization on paper folding modeling and folding skill with universal meaning in folk paper folding art, building certain foundation for development and recreation of paper folding structure. Finally, take the outer package of wine for example, further improve the ancient paper folding skill, and apply it to package design. Also combine the outer package with inner package of wine to improve the resource waste brought by package, at the same time, expand the idea of package design and enrich the theory of package design.The traditional package of wine is complicated and consumes much materials, paper folding structure is made into package after modeling once, not only using environmental materials, but reducing consumption of materials, decreasing production process and saving cost utmost. Research of this paper is preliminary exploration and attempt on improving wine package and combining its outer package and inner buffer materials, which provides a new direction for designing simpler and more eco –friendly wine package.
