As we all know, since the rare earth complexes have good luminescence properties and various structure, etc, so many people research it, rare earth complexes are used in many fields, such as optical communications, most studied is rare earth complexes of europium, terbium. Fluorescence properties of complexes related to many factors, such as the structure of the ligand, the second ligand, the pH value, etc. Two kinds of new type of benzoic acid derivative were synthesized in this paper, selecting europium ion and its ligands, synthesis of the corresponding binary rare earth complexes. While selecting a different second ligands to prepare the ternary rare earth complex, and then study their fluorescence and thermal stability; and finally prepared by electrostatic spinning earth luminescent fiber, studying the nature of the fiber. The main content is as following:(1) Synthesis of a new type of carboxylic acids containing an ether bond ligand, analyzing of its structure by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer. Synthesis of binary rare earth complexes with synthetic ligands and europium europium ligand, we analysed complex composition by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyzer, TGA, fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometer, etc. The product for the first ligand, phenanthroline, benzoyl trifluoroacetone,4,4’-bipyridine were second ligand, prepare different ternary complexes, their structure were tested and analyzed, we explored the influence of the second ligand on emission intensity, and the fluorescence properties of different pH values. Finally we found that the fluorescence of the ternary complexes is best with phenanthroline as the second ligand.(2) Synthesis of a new type of multi-branched acid ligands, analyzing of its structure by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer. Synthesis of binary rare earth complexes with the multi-branched acid ligands and europium europium ligand, we analysed complex composition by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyzer, TGA, fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometer, etc. The above ligands for the first ligands, with adjacent phenanthroline, three fluorine benzoyl acetone,4,4’-pyridine, respectively. Synthesis of different ternary complexes, tested and analyzed the structures of complex, we explored the influence of the second ligand on emission intensity, and the fluorescence properties of different pH values. The good luminous performance of complexes are obtained.(3) We chose the ternary europium rare earth complexes with good luminescence, poly(methyl methacrylate) as the matrix, prepared by electrostatic spinning smooth luminescent fiber, and to study the process parameters of the electrostatic spinning, as well as the nature of the light-emitting fiber.
