The Basic Properties Of Rare Earth Luminous Fiber And Design Of Testing Method For Luminous Effect

The long-lasting phosphor was used as light conversion agent and several common chemical fiber materials like polyester fiber was used as matrix to make the rare earth luminous fiber. It is functional fiber which can be luminous. In the process of producing and using, it is environmentally friendly and can conform to economy and social development model since it does not need any luminescent coating to produce. Besides, the rare earth luminous fiber is popular among producers and consumers due to its abundant color. So study on the rare earth luminous fiber becomes a key point and hot spot.At present, the experts and scholars at home and abroad did the study of the rare earth luminous fiber's structure and properties. Considering the actual condition, basic properties of the rare earth luminous fiber were studied and found it exhibited structure and properties similar to polyester fiber. It showed good mechanical and chemical properties and the long persistence phosphors in the rare earth luminous fiber could be integrated with matrix of polyester fibers. According to the research on the basic properties of the fibers and basic requirements of textile yarn, process parameters of spinning were set and spinning process and basic properties of luminescent yarn were researched. Instruments like fluorospectrophotometer were used to test properties of the rare earth luminous products. Although the excitation wavelength and emission wavelength could be reached accurately and objectively, luminescent effect of the materials could not be observed intuitively. Based on formal test and research, observation instrument which can use color mode to design luminescent parameters and observe luminescent effect was designed. What's more, it could calculate objectively luminescent parameters to characterize luminescent effect.The fundamental properties and spinning process of the rare earth luminous fiber were studied in this paper to help guide actual production. Besides, observation instrument and luminescent parameters were designed in this paper. According to the test, the luminescent parameters could characterize well luminescent effect and made more convenient for subsequent experimental projects.
