Isobutylene as an important chemical raw materials, has a great application in chemical production space. This thesis explore the isobutylene device through the analysis of MTBE cracking process of isobutylene process. Those results could supply useful references for improving the product quality and yield, reducing the waste water and gas emissions, and save energy for similar domestic devices.Jilin petrochemical company has 15000 tons/year isobutylene device with methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) as raw material. Isobutylene and methanol were obtained by step pyrolysis method. The final product was obtained after the separation using washing tower and purification through the rectification column, respectively. In this article, we tried to improve both the quality and yield of the final product through the strict material balance combined with historical consumption device for key parts of formation damage and production experience to optimize the process and reduce emission as well as save energy. The similar domestic device could directly use reform measures. Meanwhile, it was significant for improving devices. The main results were summarized as follows.(1) The wastewater resulted from methanol dehydration tower was reused for washing isobutylene and the methanol-isobutylene separation, leading to the zero discharge of wastewater from the isobutylene device.(2) The waste air released from ether tower could be recycled, which could efficiently re-collected the isobutylene components in such released waste air. Leading to both the enhanced economic value and the reduced consumption of raw materials of MTBE.(3) The nitrogen transformation device in the heat conduction oil system was improved, which could effectively avoid the production of small molecule acids after the heat conduction oil pyrolysis oxidation. This could increase the equipment operating lifetime and also reduce the security.(4) The heat source for removing isobutylene was improved, which could reduce the steam consumption and make full use of condensed steam, leading to the repeated use of the heat source.(5) The diesel fuel used in the heat conduction oil furnace was replaced by using the residual liquid, which could make full use of the waste products from the device and save energy, leading to the reduced production cost.
