The workshops of zinc hydrometallurgy are using calcine, zinc oxide, smoke, dust,zinc scum raw materials containing useless chlorine,with the accumulation of chloride ion in the production,when the content of chloride ion in the zinc sulfate is more than 250 mg/L, main influence embodied consumption cathode plate and corrosion of the rapid increase,the power consumption is increased,the quality of the electrolytic zinc decreased,increased the production costs.The reduction of chloride ion content is of great significance to the production process of zinc,and the current commonly used method of removing chlorine is in addition to the precipitation of silver sulfate with the addition of chlorine,chlorine removal from copper slag and the resin ion exchange method.In this paper,the experiment mainly used D201 resin(Macroporous anion exchange resin) which be produced from a resin plant in Shanghai,used static state and dynamic adsorption method as the main means,the liquid we used is from a workshop of zinc Hydrometallurgy.The analysis method of chloride ion for mercury nitrate titration.It studied on the adsorption rate of D201 resin with different temperature,pH and chloride concentration,stirring speed F,particle size of resin or saturated adsorption capacity;the temperature of is from 50 to 55℃,pH=3.5,Liquid flow rate is 2BV/h, material liquid flow rate of liquid chlorine ion concentration for the saturated adsorption capacity of D201 resin 400mg/L under the condition is 7.99mg/L.Under he best effect of dechlorination situation,chlorideion concentration in solution can be as low as 90.12 mg/L;it chosen sulfuric acid as eluent,the concentration of sulfuric acid is from 40 to 60 g/L,sulfuric acid volume dosage is 2 to 4 times of the resin,we also studied the relationship between the regeneration concentration,flow rate,and the number of regeneration broken rate;and it listed some available ion exchanging equipment for sulfate zinc leaching plants,which are fixed beds, fluidized beds,towers,pulse towers,and given a number of factories using ion exchange equipment parameters for reference,And theoretically, the research of the TPCIX tower of Tianjin University as the equipment of D201 resin to remove chlorine,it is a continuous counter current device,is very suitable for the treatment of concentrated liquid,according to experiment,it selected the tower with the diameter of 1.5m and the column height up to 12m.The maximum filling height of the resin was 10m.Liquid flow rate is 2.12BV/h,the theory height of exchange area theory is 9.65m.
