anaerobic ammonium oxidation happen in the absence of external carbon source co- nditions, but in the actual waste water, carbon is inevitable. In this paper, the depth of a- naerobic conditions COD on the impact of ammonia oxidation was studied, the depth of the anaerobic process control experimental conditions and in the sludge produce metha- ne at the anaerobic stage.this study includes three aspects: To start an- aerobic ammoni- um oxidation process; the impact of two ways to increase the nitrogen load have been d- icussed in the same experimental conditions; the impact COD to amm- onia oxidation r- eaction. The main findings are as follows:(1) Start-up anammox use UASB reactor as the test device, at constant temperature at 37℃, anaerobic granular sludge as inoculation sludge, influent COD, ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen concentration of 250 mg / L,100mg / L,130mg/L.100days later, Confirmed anammox reaction to start, and gain anammox sludge. At the same time knew the best PH is 7.0-7.5,the best temperature is 37℃.(2) Increase the nitrogen load by two ways,first is Shortening the HRT ,use two 500ml plastic bottles as the experimental device,make use of start-up anammox sludge, to do further increase load experiments at the same experimental conditions, analysis the impact of the two ways increase load on the de-nitrification reactor performance (first is shortening the hydraulic retention time and second is increase the influent concentration).Reactor 1# original two days retention time shortened to 1.5 days, 2# reactor influent ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen concentrations from 100mg/L, 130mg / L to 150mg / L, 200mg / L, the results is: at exactly the same environmental conditions, the same running time, as by shortening the hydraulic retention time and increase the influent substrate concentration increase load, the latter be able to get a better de-nitrification efficiency, and can be stable in the long run.(3) 500ml reactor bottle for the experimental device, make use of start-up anammox sludge, research the different COD concentration impact on the ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen degradation of nitrogen, found that when influent COD reactor exist, found that the Competition between heterotrophic bacteria and anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria thus affect the reactor performance of anaerobic ammonium oxidation. The lower Influent of COD concentration, faster removal of, higher concentration of COD, the lower the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen.The results of experiment which discovered promotion the new techniques applied to nitrogen removal wastewater the theory and engineering practice.
