Recently,as economic develops rapidly,people need more and more plate.In order to obtain more plate and excellent quality,we should furtherly decrease the thickness deviation, improve the medium and heavy plate plant's automation level and the plate's rolling yield,based on this,this paper studied on the basic automation system of 3000mm plate mill in a certain medium and heayvy plate plant.The author studied on these questions:(1)First of all,the author briefly introduced some important device and their control requirement,and configured instrumentation.Then the author designed the structure of finish rolling's basic automatin control system,inchluding horizontal control system and vertical control system.Besides,horizontal control system was used to realize the function of transportation,alignment,rotation,scaling,staying. The vertical control system was used to realize the gauge control.(2)In vertical control system,the author programmed to realize full automatic rolling from three aspacts of roller table's rolling,pass setting and speed setting.Accurate tracking ensured full automatic rolling.The author created the information data block of the plate,and programmed to realize the length calculation of the rolling plate,manipulator's calibration,the plate's width measurement and discussed the correction of total plates,rolling delayed plate's position,rolling onlined plate's position,post-rolling plate's position,initial rolling signal and final rolling signal of finish rolling by using STEP 7 software and corresponding programming language.(3)In horizontal control system,the author made reasonable speed-position deviation curve of the electric APC and used electrohydraulic joint to control gap.This realized high precision position control.In addition,this control system used relative AGC to realize the gap's dynamic adjusting in the rolling process by using CFC software.Then the author established the compensation model of the plate's head,oil film,eccentricity of the backup roll and furtherly improved the thickness precision.(4)Designation and development of the plate's mill's automatic control system improved the accuracy of the micro-tracking,eliminated the thickness deviation of the head and tail.This research work had been checked and accepted and was attained a lot of good evaluation by the stuff.
