Dephosphorization hot metal pretreatment technology is effective in reducing iron and steel industry in the phosphorus content of an important method. But, there are many problems with the Dephosphorization hot metal pretreatment such as molten iron slag bubbling drastically, iron loss, lance burning issues, which impact on the production line and with the increase in production costs. So it is necessary to develop the new dephosphorization technology to solve these problems.This experiment simulates of hot pretreatment conditions in the laboratory, spraying the powders into the hot metal. The lance's burning is studied on the hot metal pretreatment dephosphorization conditions. Giving the solution of hot metal in the course of dephosphorization lance burning serious is prepared for developing the new dephosphorization technology. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Using Ar transfer Fe2O3 and CaO into the hot metal to dephosphorize is more reasonable compared different atmosphere under the dusting dephosphorization process, and the burning of the spray lance is relatively low. So using the non-oxidated gas to transfer powder for dephosphorizing the hot metal could be used for the new dephosphorization hot metal pretreatment technology.(2) The temperature of hot metal little effects on speed of burning loss of lance. The potential level of oxygen in the molten iron is the main factor impacts the speed of burning lance. The oxidation reaction will be dramatic with the high oxygen potential in the molten iron, giving off more heat, which burns lance faster.(3) When using the gas to transfer powder to dephosphorizing the hot metal, greater pressure, the flow of suitable injection process, as far as possible, will make the high-temperature areas near the nozzle away from the nozzle, which can slow the lance burning loss speed, and it is recommended to be used in the new dephosphorizaing hot matal technology.
