With the more and more drastic competition in iron & steel industry, the competition focus on how to implement multi-category and small batch production effectively, high quality and low price, delivery on time and better after sale services.In iron & steel enterprises, steelmaking & continuous casting is the key procedure of the steel-making flow. So, make researches on planning and scheduling for steelmaking & continuous casting is of great importance in making technical procedure clear, quickening technical rhythm, improving the enterprise's economic efficiency.This paper's intent is to research and develop on steelmaking & continuous casting batch production planning and schedule simulation below the system of the integrated production planning. The main work in paper will introduce in detail below.At first, introduce the steel corporation's CIMS system based on ERP/MES/PCS three-layer structure and the function of steelmaking & continuous casting integrated production planning in the steel corporation's CIMS system.Afterward, discuss the flow procedure, main structure and model architecture of the integrated production planning in steelmaking & continuous casting. At last, bring forward the flow procedure, goal and function of the integrated batch planning in steelmaking & continuous casting.The steelmaking & continuous casting batch planning consist of the charge planning and the cast planning by these working procedure point of view.Each planning have their complex craft constrain, at the same time, there are many match problem between the craft constrain. According to the demand of batch planning flow procedure and craft constrain, build the mathematic model of the best charge planning and cast planning, then solve the mathematic model by genetic algorithm.According to the research of the integrated batch planning, develop the steelmaking & continuous casting integrated batch planning system.Design the function, database and interface.Then test the system by actual production data. Sequentially, the steelmaking & continuous casting batch planning system is implemented which is integrated by using data, model and human-machine technology.The steelmaking & continuous casting schedule simulation system was designed by the configuration soft. The system can realistically demonstrate the result of steelmaking & continuous casting produce planning and scheduling, consist of steelmaking, refine and continuous casting.
