With the development of our state economy, many fields such as ERW weld steel,die steel develop rapidly. In order to improve security and save resource, it has made progress in lightweight and high strength of armor plate at home and abroad. So the research of armor plate with high strength has a perfect perspective.Slit is an important process in the production of high strength armor plate.The steel mill has to reconstruct its slitter capacity so that its strip steel slitter line can adapt to the request of the manufacture.As to the problem of strip hot tandem mill slitter line in the steel mill,the paper does power test and calculates at main equipment.In view of not rebuilding the system in a large range, the paper regenerates a tensility control model to optimize the system and satisfy the request of the manufacture, through changing its control mode and bringing in speed matching. And we developed an advanced computer control system based on PLC controller. This article design distributed computer control system which is based on the PROFIBUS-DP. It controls the entire process by using Siemens S7-300, ET200S series PLC and 6RA70.In order to maintain high quality of the Products and stability of the Production in strip steel slitter line system, the tension between main stand and rolling stand must be kept stable required by rolling technique.If the tension controller is designed basing on the tradition control theory, we would not achieve good control effect. Fuzzy control is one of intelligence control methods without relying on accurate mathematical model of the control object. It can overcome nonlinear disturbance and has better robusticity. So fuzzy PID control method is used effectively in the electrical driving area. Because of the reasons mentioned above, and considering the practicality of the project, we design the synchronous driving system based on the fuzzy control method.As to control arithmetic,we use online rules "self-regulation",that is the error is big we use Bang-Bang control to raise response rate, and when the error is small,we use fuzzy control to get high performance of the system." Parameter self-regulation fuzzy control "is also introduced.we can adjust parameters effectually according to the performance of the control system,which can achieve satisfied control result.In the end,we finish the simulation using Matlab for the control system,and get the different curve in different metord.
