With the applications of automatic control technique in the steel industry, the function of LF becomes more and more important in the short process of EAF-LF-CC-CR. Therefore, the end-point control of LF becomes a key to the operating in the short process.Nowadays, the end-point controls are dominated by operators in the LF refining process of China. If the operators are absent-minded, the enterprises will probably bear vast economic loss. Therefore, it's urgent for operators to handle with the end-point control problem. As to the problem that the carbon and phosphor can't be measured continuously, the dynamic models are brought forward based on the metallurgy theory. An optimized model is come up with for the parameters not measured directly, and the optimized results are brought into full play through GA. The dynamic and static models are combined properly in order to forecast the end-point compositions of carbon and phosphor.Because of the carbon loss of ladle ends caused by drawing arc, a more rational power supply model is brought forward.Based upon the ladle furnace theory, carbon loss theory and GA theory, the power supply model is optimized ideally. Besides, both the manufacture rhythm and the CC requires are be taken into account.
