Analysis Of Urban Center Park's Space Reconstruction For The Function On Disaster Prevention And Refuge

With economic development and the accelerated process of global urbanization, the population living in urban area has exceeded the number of rural population. As the expanding of city scale, diverse types of disasters have been coming. In addition to traditional disasters such as earthquakes, floods and fires, the non-traditional disasters come out one after the other. The design idea of the "Disaster Prevention Park" has been introduced into construction of urban disaster prevention, but there is not sufficient land to meet the needs of Disaster Prevention Park construction in urban center with high concentration of population and construction of regional. Therefore, Urban Center Park's function on disaster prevention and refuge becomes particularly important.Difference and relationship lie in Urban Center Park and Disaster Prevention Park. In the park's reconstruction, improving the function on disaster prevention and refuge without affecting the recreation is a basic principle. Compared with facilities, safe space which needs to be researched is of first importance for refuge.In addition to reviewing the construction and research of park with disaster prevention at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the principles of Disaster Prevention Park planning to providing reference to Urban Center Park's space reconstruction for the function on disaster prevention and refuge. Subsequently, the article analysis the function on disaster prevention and refuge with Urban Center Park and summarize the relevant elements of space reconstruction after listing the problem of prevention and refuge space.At the operational level, taking typical Urban Center Park-Wuhan Zhongshan Park for example, seven major aspects has been researched, such as borders with entrances, evacuation area, internal roads, prevention zone, plants, evacuation obstacles and main structures. Under the guide of Urban Center Park's function on disaster prevention and refuge, specific suggestion on space reconstruction has been proposed. In summary, exploring the Urban Center Park's space reconstruction for the function on disaster prevention and refuge could provide a favorable reference to related research and practice in other cities.
