Rubber dam is a new emerging low-head hydraulic structures, with the development of synthetic polymer and rubber industry. This structure can be widely used in irrigation, power generation, water supply, maritime, moisture build light, groundwater recharge, urban water, landscaping, improvement of regional climate and so on. For this new structure is simple and low cost. Besides, it can save three materials and has a short construction period. At the same time it has the following characteristics: seismic performance, not waterproof, good seaving effects, flexble operation and management, small flood discharge volume, and low maintenance cost. In the past more than 40 years, the rubber dam industry plays an important role in the water conservancy constructure in our cuntry. The security of rubber dam is becoming more important, along with its rapid development.Based on the two basic hypotheses-membrance internal forces and plane problem, this paper calculated a sufficient number of point coordinates of dam cross-section curve according to "rubber dam technical specifications" SL227-98, fitted curve of the dam section, ectablished the shape of three dimensional finite element modle of the dam in full water, the membrance geometrically nonlinear theory and nonlinear theory and finite element analysis software ANSYS. Condtruct the Mooney-Rivlin model of dam bags, then make dam bags uniaxial tensile test of different high designs to get material properties, these properties offer parameters for the water and over water overflow parameters. Analysis the process of the rubber dam water by the method of reverse loading, especially for the condition of bags elongation and intensity increase caused by more upstream and downstream water conditions. Simplify the over water overflow loading and enhance inside and outside loading, analysis the circumstance of the dam bags seleced and we can get the state of exterme load limited. In this paper, the paper makes a basic equation between overflow and not overflow, defines the boundary conditions, uses MATLAB software to make programe of the rubber dam's vibration, makes the programe interfaced, enters basic information about the dam, then calculates the natural frequency of the vibration and the curve of vibration change with the upstream and downstream water level in different condition. The results of the research can perfect the theory and measures in rubber dam design, at the same time they can provide a reference value for the selection of anchor bolts in the design and construction. It is also useful for project management later.
