With the flourish development of ocean and the increasing requirement for military affairs, the underwater ship(including AUV, UUV and other underwater equipment)has become preferential develop field for each developed country, and it has wide apply foreground. The activity space for underwater ship is ocean, therefore there is exigent requirement for the apperceive and acquirement of the ocean information.This article will be based on the requirement for ocean information for the underwater ship, and aims to design the modularize ocean information support system. The marine data model, marine data storage technology will be researched, with the ocean element in specific area as research object. Also the technology of amalgamation for electronic chart information and ocean information will be researched. Finally the modularize ocean information support system will be realized.With regard to marine data model, feature-based temporal-spatial model and grid-based temporal-spatial model are analyzed. The Object-Oriented technology and the Unified Modeling Language are used for description when analyzing feature-based temporal-spatial model. The application of grid-based temporal-spatial model has an good effect on the expression of ocean current.With regard to the storage of marine data, the technology based on oracle database is used for the discrete point data. The database storage technology has superiority in the share of data, association and it has a high independence, also it is convenient to control the data uniformly. The use of NetCDF storage technology on the grid data has improved the inquire of the data.Finally, the electronic chart / mono-ocean data integration system is designed, and the amalgamation of the electronic chart information, real-time sensor information and ocean mono-information has been realized. The system can supply the inquire and display of the data in several ways.
