When doing work and research in some field, People need to conserve the results of work and investigation, and get new theory and technique through disposing and analyzing those results. So data storage always is an important technique for people. As the technology developpend, diversified storage technique and storage medium are continually advanced and appearance, at the same time considering the whole performance of equipment especially in Under Acoustic field makes the data storage of vast storage,low power,small volume,low cost and credible performance apply more and more widely. In this paper mainly describes a low-power data storage system which used MSP430 singlechip as primary controller and used CF card as the main storage medium. The system gets the data from serial interface.The paper's major work is about the data storage system design, including the design of hardware and software. The hardware design includes the connection of the MSP430 signlechip and CF card which is the main function module to realize data storage, and the connection of peripheral equipment. The software design can realize the function of data storage, and this part also includes two aspects. First, in order to store the data into CF card must realize data transmission by PIO model through programme, because this is the base for software design. Second, in this design, all of the data is stored with FAT32 file system and it also need to be programmed. Because of the above two aspects, the interrelated information of PIO model and FAT32 file system is detailedly discussed in this paper. The integration of these information and hardware design makes data storage system succeed by programme.At last, the method to resolve the questions in debugging is advanced in this paper. Through experiment the reliability and stability of the system is validated.
