Surface mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drive system is widely used in electrical drive application field, because of its fine speed vs. torque performance, low noise, high efficiency, high power density , small size and weight, good low-speed performance, small torque fluctuation, high reliability and wide speed regulation ability without weakening magnetic. So, the research on the control strategies of the SPMSM control system has significant meaning.First, a lot of studies of direct torque control (DTC) strategy on the permanent magnet synchronous motor have been done, on the basis of the research in mathematical model of PMSM in two-phase stationary coordinate system and the analysis of different working states using the vector diagrams. Simulations of DTC system and DTC system based on space vector pulse width modulation for SPMSM (DTC-SVM) have been done, and also decide to adopt DTC-SVM control strategy for the SPMSM servo control system, based on the contrast and analysis of the simulation results.And then, a design of the hardware and software for the SPMSM position servo control system is made. TMS320F2812 is used as the core of hardware, peripheral circuits including current detection circuit, over current protection circuit, the external input and output interface circuit, IGBT driving circuit. Direct DC power supply is used as the main circuit. And emphasis on the design of protection circuit based on hardware is putted. The program of the SPMSM position servo control system adopts modular design method, realized in C language in CCS3.1 development environment. The software including main program and interrupt service program, most work is done in interrupt services program,including phase current detection, data processing, PI regulator, sampling filter, zero compensation and so on. A detailed analysis of the various program modules for data processing method is done.Finally, tests have been done using the steps of the design of the system, the results and analysis of experimental is given. The experimental results show that the software and hardware design of the PMSM servo control system have been completed.
