In recent years, with the development of Marine resources and the world shipping industry developing to high-speed passenger & freight transport, the demand of marine and offshore engineering increased greatly. This presented a huge challenge to the manufacturing capacity of the shipyard. Then, the technology of on-ground ship building came out. In order to adapt the technology of on-ground ship building, there were tremendous changes in ship launching method.According to the project of DALIAN ZHONGYUAN ship yard, to solve the problem of damage for the hull structures, when Ship Launch with Slide Ways, this article proposes the reconstruction scheme of the upper slide. Designed three kinds of upper slide connection mode e, and briefly introduced the material, size and characteristics of them respectively. This article uses ANSYS, a kind of software for finite element analysis, to analysis the strength for the hook-type structure, the pin-type structure and the back-pull-type structure, then modifies these structures.The results of strength analysis show that, under the tension of 1000t, the maximum stress of the hook-type structure is 337.5MPa, while the maximum stress of the pin-type structure and the back-pull-type structure are 342.1MPa and 332.39MPa, respectively. All of the structures were able to meet the engineering safety requirements.
