When single phase leakage accident happens in mine, fault line selection criterion is always the key point in the process of resolving this problem. Lots of researches are put forwards in this direction to quickly and reliably select the fault line, especially for the widely used neutral resonant grounding system. Though there are existing many principles of line selection criterion, the consequence of single line detection technology couldn't reach the required demands, which makes the fusion of mutil-fault line selection theory become hotspot nowadays.Firstly, the performances of single-phase leakage fault in neutral resonant grounding system are analyzed in detail. Brief descriptions towards the variety types of line selection theory are made. Secondly, three typical kinds of complementary principles are selected as the foundation of information fusion based on fuzzy technology, fault measures membership function and criterion weights of membership function related to each type are given to establish a comprehensive line selection program. Simulation results verify the validity and reliability of this new theory.Lastly, according to the analysis of fuzzy decisiveness in combination of CAN bus technology, a protection device adopting DSP as main control unit is designed. When the leakage fault happens, this device could identify the fault line exactly. Experiment results indicate the quick action ability, selectivity, sensitivity and reliability of this device.
