The Analysis Of Optimized Design On Children's Outdoor Playing Areas

Everyone has the purest and brave dream in their soft heart when they were in childhood. Though we have grown up, as landscape architects ,we hope to create popular places full of teachingful and meaningful for children, which cultivates creativity, imagination,and collaboration. Wish they have memorable childhood in that environment.The paper is making the research on the children's outdoor playing areas in urban open space,which uses the methods of literature review, sample analysis, field survey, the actual project operation and others to construct the context of the article.It includes that making the definition of children's outdoor playing areas, synthesis of research in and abroad, summarizing the relevant psychological theories, studying the interaction between children's psychology and the game site. This article focuses investigation of the current analysis on children's playing space in and abroad, summarizs the methods of the space planning and design of location, layout, security facility under the premise of the game design, plant configuration, selection of public facilities materials. Then it cites the classic children's game in and abroad to make reference for the designing. Finally, through a concrete case on the west subsite center of Youth Palace in Hangzhou, try to use dynamic and colorful culture,as complement and reference for the design of children's outdoor playing areas.
