The World Conference for Climate Change of the Century was held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, between 7 December and 18 December. When facing to the climate crisis, countries all over the world have come together hand in hand. In addition to the war, building construction has been almost biggest destroyer of the natural environment in all human activities. Exploring various construction activities in the design of green technology has now become an important part of sustainable development.Atrium is an architectural space form which has various forms and is widely used. Because of its special characteristics with exchange, transitional, kind, natural and ecological features, it is mostly agreed with the environment of office buildings, and always favored by architects. It is often used as a combination space for office buildings, streamline organizations, and key joint in forms.Taking office building atrium design as the breakthrough point, and on the basis of present practice and theories, this thesis mainly studies the method of "green atrium design" with office buildings, so as to expand the atrium design perspective. The thesis discusses the way to implement the specific method of green building technology to designs under the ecological view. For different design stage of atrium in office buildings, e.g. site evaluation, architectural design, maintenance structure design, ecological design, etc. which are faced with different problems and needed different solutions, the thesis takes the energy conservation and environmental protection as the design content and direction, and summarizes a series of design method, construction strategy and useful measures, as well as forms systematically a set of ecological design patterns with office buildings.
