The tail bearing is the important part of supportting the shafting. The traditional tail bearing take the noble metal as a material, and take oil as lubrication medium. Along with environmental pollution and energy crisis question day by day serious, as well as sustainable development need, to reduce consumption of the noble metal and pollution of the lubricating oil to water, the high polymer material water lubrication tail bearings have been used in the partial ships. Therefore,There are the important theory significance and the project application value to carry on the water lubrication tail bearing research regarding the revelation water lubrication mechanism, enhancing tail bearing's lubricity, the extension service life, the antivibration noise reduction, as well as realizing "the green shipping"the high polymer material water lubrication tail bearing are taken as the study object in the article, and the multiple grid method are applied to carry on the numerical analysis about elastic-flow dynamic pressure lubrication question of the water lubrication tail bearings, revealing its lubrication mechanism and discussing the lubricating property differences between slot bearings and un-slot,as well as influence rule of the bearing's structural style and material attribute to its lubricating property (water film thickness distribution, water film pressure distribution, friction coefficient and so on).The main research results are as follows:(1)Under the same operating mode, compare with the un-slot bearing, in the slot bearing, local pressure largen, water film thickness reduces, friction coefficient increases(2)Tail bearing's structural style makes a great effect to its elastic-flow dynamic pressure lubricating property. With the number of water grooves and width of grooves creases, the local pressure will lagren, water film thickness will reduce, friction coefficient fill-out. With the bearing clearance increases, local pressure will elevate, water film thickness whole fill-out, but water film thickness in some region will reduce suddenly, the friction coefficient will reduce; The length to diameter ratio enlarges makes the bearing friction coefficient to increase, when the bearing length to diameter ratio is 1:1, the bearing pressure distribution most relaxes, water film thickness is biggest, is advantageous to the lubrication formation.(3)Tail bearing's material attribute makes a great effect to its elastic-flow dynamic pressure lubricating property. With the material elasticity increases, the local pressure will fill-out, the bearing rigidity will strengthen, water film thickness and the friction coefficient will reduce. Poisson's ratio enlargement, will cause the bearing pressure distribution will tend relaxes, but the local pressure fill-out, local pressure big position's water film thickness will reduce suddenly, but the poisson's ratio will not effect the bearing's friction coefficient greatly.(4)The dry and wet friction test result of the 3 kinds of high polymer materials indicates:Under the dry friction condition, the friction of material A is smallest, under the wet friction condition, the friction of material A is biggest, friction coefficient of material B and C is close. The wear test result indicates:wear-resisting performance of material A is best.The bench test result of 3 kinds of material water lubricate slot bearing indicate: Under the identical specific pressure, when low speed, the friction coefficient drops suddenly as the speed rises; when middle or high speed, the friction coefficient drops slowly or tends to be steady. Under the identical rotational speed, the friction coefficient is reducing with the increase of specific pressure. Besides the individual operating mode, under the identical kind of operating mode, friction coefficient of material A is low, B and C is close. The overall evaluation, material A is the good performance material for bearing. The tendency of 3 kinds of bearing's test results and theoretical calculations are consistent basically. For material A, there are certain error existence at value between test results and theoretical calculation results.
