A new light-gauge steel structure system for middle and small span building is proposed in this thesis. It has many advantages, such as light weight, higher standardizing, assigning space flexible, good performance of the seismic resistant, industrialization producing, short construction period, protecting environment, and so on. The making of this structure is introduced in this thesis. Finite element analysis and design software of steel are used to compute the whole structure.This thesis covers these followings:(1)The making of this structure for middle and small span building is proposed. That covers:the composition of the whole structure; the making of roof truss; the making of column; the making of vertical bracing; the making of purlin; the making of enclosure wall, and so on.(2) Theory analysis of this structure and design way are proposed.That covers: calculation analysis of the whole structure; design of the roof truss and the node; design of column foot; calculation of enclosure wall.(3) ABAQUS software and 3D3S software are used to calculate deformation and strength, the calculation result of the two software is similar. It proves that it's feasible to used 3D3S software for the whole structure.A new light-gauge steel structure for middle and small span building is proposed in this thesis. The design and calculation way are also researched.It provides reference for expanding the application scope of this kind of structure.
